Who is responsible for your information
AnvilTec Limited, company number 17367753, is the data controller. Our registered office is Anvil House, Cutnall Green, Droitwich, Worcestershire, WR9 0PJ. Privacy enquiries can be sent to office@anviltec.co.uk.
Information we may collect
We may receive your name, organisation, contact details and any information you choose to include when you submit the website enquiry form, email or telephone us. Website enquiries are stored securely by our hosting provider so AnvilTec can respond and maintain an appropriate business record. If you consent to analytics, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may collect limited information about how you use the site, including pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, and interaction data.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and arrange conversations.
- To assess and deliver requested consulting services.
- To maintain appropriate business, contractual and legal records.
- With your consent, to understand and improve website performance.
Our lawful bases
We process enquiries because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, or because we have a legitimate interest in responding to business communications. We use optional website analytics only with consent.
Sharing and international processing
We use carefully selected service providers for website hosting, email and optional analytics. These may include Cloudflare, Microsoft and Google. Where information is processed outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards provided by applicable data-protection law and the relevant provider agreements. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep information
Website and other unsuccessful enquiry records are normally retained for no longer than 12 months after the last contact. Client and contractual records may be kept for the applicable legal and accounting period, normally up to six years. Analytics retention is controlled through the relevant service settings.
Your rights
You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your information, or object to certain processing. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time through Manage cookies. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
